Alright, let's get right down to business and discuss what is wrong with this poor pitiful site that once

flourished.

Today, our main focus is Tass.

Now I'm sure many of you are asking, "What did Tass do? : ("

Well let me tell you.

Okay, as we all know, Tass is an admin. So his responsibility is to make the site as great as possible, maintain order, and keep the games running smoothy and update them, right? Whatever else in the world an admin does.

We'll start with maintaining order. Tass does not know his priorities. He does not understand what matters on the site and what doesn't matter. He does not acknowledge the bigger problems and instead spends his time worrying about trivial things. For example, staying on topic in the Queue/Batch Discussion Thread. You've got to be f*cking kidding me. This thread is a bajillion pages long and this douche wants us to stay on topic. It'll all get buried in the end. And then he has such poor organization skills that it takes him months to finish one measly batch of files for testing and he expects these people to wait anxiously and NOT post a million different things? And if that wasn't bad enough, he locks the thread, making it impossible for any legitimate discussion to occur. What would be the purpose of that? Does it really help anything in the long run? He might as well let people exchange stupidity since at least they'll be improving their communication skills.

And the thing about trolling. I have been banned quite a few times for trolling, but each of the bans were not only much longer than necessary, but completely unnecessary as well. When I troll I don't just troll just to annoy people. Tass fails to see why I am trolling and the message I am conveying. He ignores the problem I am trying to address and moves on. Mind you, it's not because I can't say it straight. Tass never listens anyways.

Next, his post count. It's absolutely ludicrous, completely whoring the site when he should be striving to create meaningful posts and answering questions.

Now to discuss his organizational skills, primarily using the queue as an example.

That batch should've been revamped a LOOOONG time ago. It was clear from afar that the batch was doing horribly, and judging sucked. Yet, Tass failed to realize the problems that EVERYONE brings up, and stays on the normal routine. Also, what is the point of having everyone send all the files to Tass and THEN to the judges when the files could just be submitted to a shared e-mail such as ffrqueuebatch@something.com and then give the judges access. Dur, basic logic here. Saves time and effort. Idiot.

The latest mistake he made was putting all the new songs in the Purchased genre. Okay, putting a few new songs in there is fresh and new and will be awesome. But putting every single new song in here will be nothing but a turnoff. Too much in the shop will make it impossible to find anything, and players will feel overwhelmed. Good job Tass.

Next, his stepping skills. For a long time (and technically he still is) Tass has been a judge of the batch of FFR files. What astounds me is how he had the nads to try and judge when he doesn't even know what he's doing. His comments and criticisms are horrible, irrelvant, even incorrect at times. He cannot step a file for his life either. Free Space is just a bunch of 4th arrows dumped from his ass. It's not a legit file, and he still strokes his own cock with it. He also fails to keep the community moving with new ideas, and now it is the habit of the average person to continue along trends. Hence, FFR has reached a standstill. It is dead, and no longer moving, and probably will not move for a long time. Things like not allowing hands in easy files, no alternate noteskins, no abstract layering techniques, all these simple-minded ideas ultimately leading to a deadening of the creative abilities of the stepartists, who now all suck. Even blu and jimerax have been blinded thanks to Tass.

Widgets. Need I say more?

I'm sure a lot of you guys are thinking that he's not so bad and that I'm overreacting. I am not. Many of you have not been deep enough in the community to know exactly what's going on.

I'm sure there are also people who disagree with me, saying that he's very dedicated and did a lot of good for the site. Let's just say that a monkey could've done better. Just because he did a few good things doesn't mean he's a good admin. Anyone could done those things. But Tass always failed to deliver the things that did matter.

Nothing significant on the site were his ideas, even though he might have put "work" into it. Sh*tty work is still sh*tty work, no matter how much you do.

I'm sure still others think FFR is great and is still getting better. You poor, poor, nieve fool. Either you're not experienced enough in the community to know what is good and what isn't, you don't see what all of this is doing to FFR's future, or you simply have horribly low expectations that are impossible to not satisfy.

He is driving away all the members of FFR. There is a reason why there is a lack of activity in many of the veterans in the past year or so. Tass thinks he is so high and mighty because he is an admin he makes all the decisions for himself, and does not take the veterans' ideas into consideration. Dedicated members (I used to be one) have eventually lost interest, lost the energy to keep fighting. And once all the vets are gone he'll keep moving down until they're all driven away.

Shash, Rebirth, hi19hi19, behan, and I are the most prominent people who strongly disagree with what Tass usually does. Rebirth left in a fit of madness, Shash no longer dedicates himself to the site, hi19hi19 deals with it because he has inferiority complex, and behan no longer cares about the community.
And there are still more people.

And this is only the gist of it. I'm only scraping the surface.

Tass needs to stop thinking he is the master and ruler of all and do something right for the site. But alas, it is too late.

Maybe, if we all join hands and convince Tass to come to the light side FFR may be revived one day. But it looks grim. Feel free to prove me wrong and I may return one day. I am done. Obviously, Tass is going to lock or delete this thread. But one person reading it is still one victory.
